Hello My Name is Damon Thomas, I am a proud father of 3 beautiful children, two girls and a boy. I have been practicing massage therapy and Qi Gong for 4yrs and currently training in Wu Style Tai Qi. I truly enjoy the job of massage therapist because of the influence and the change massage therapy can have on a person for the better. I have learned to blend the arts of Qi Gong and Massage Therapy together to give my clients the best results from each session. I recently became certified in the Niel Asher Technique to treat frozen shoulder, I am also certified in Russian Sports Massage as taught by O Wellness Inc. I am also offering Qi Gong classes to small classes. I believe that each person has the power to be healthy and pain free on their own, but from time to time need the assistance of massage and proper breathing techniques. So together we can bring the mind, body, and spirit back into Balance.

Hello, I am Anna Julius. I am married and have one daughter and a step-son. The farming community is my origin of work ethic. I received my Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate at Highland Community College in 1996, and have worked in the health care system for most of my adult life. I believe that a person’s health is more than the physical. I received my Licensed Massage Therapy Degree at Rasmussen College, and earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Complementary and Alternative Health at Ashford University. Hello, my name is Sara Horn, and I live here is Freeport with my husband, our three kids, and our three pets. Before becoming a massage therapist, my previous educational background was in dance. I have a BFA in Theater and Dance performance from NIU DeKalb, and I taught ballet and contemporary dance for over 15 years. During my years of dance training, the seeds were planted that would blossom into a passion for therapeutic massage. My dance studies included anatomy and kinesiology, specifically muscle actions and planes of movement. More importantly, I developed an interest in achieving correct body alignment, and learning to move more freely and efficiently, without pain or tension. I learned that correct body alignment and efficient movement patterns are not only necessary for dancing beautifully, they are the keys to preventing injury and chronic pain. As a massage therapist, my goal is to help my patients release tension, relieve pain and increase mobility so that better body alignment becomes possible, and movement becomes easier. Since completing my massage training at SOHMAR (School of Holistic Massage and Reflexology) in Downers Grove, IL, and becoming licensed as a massage therapist in 2013, I have continued my education through the study of John Barnes Myofascial Release technique. Myofascial Release is a slow, gentle releasing and stretching of the body’s connective tissue, called fascia, and has been my most effective tool in releasing chronic tension. Most recently, I have completed courses in Myofascial Release designed specifically for releasing the head, neck, shoulders, and thoracic region, and for the lumbar spine and pelvis. Since I have been coming, my back pain and stiffness have been better and walking is easier, and I feel I have more mobility. I'm also more relaxed and restful. Walking, bending, sitting, standing, and sleeping are much easier. My ability to sleep, back/neck aches, overall pain, and nerve function has improved. The staff was very concerned about my condition and were efficient and knowledge about my care.
